Program Overview
The Family & Community Empowerment program strengthens households and communities by improving income stability, life skills, and social support systems.
We work with families, caregivers, vulnerable youth, women, and persons with disabilities to promote self-reliance and long-term wellbeing.
The Challenge
Many families face poverty, unstable incomes, limited financial literacy, and lack of access to support services.
These challenges affect children’s education, health outcomes, and overall family stability, especially among vulnerable households.
Our Solution
We strengthen families through economic empowerment, life skills training, and community-based support initiatives.
Our interventions include:
  • Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA)
  • Family life skills and financial literacy training
  • Support to vulnerable children and orphans
  • Inclusion and support for persons with disabilities (PWDs)
  • Community sensitization on health, parenting, and family planning
How We Implement the Program
The program is delivered through community meetings, household visits, savings groups, and partnerships with local leaders and service providers.
Families receive mentorship, peer support, and referrals that help them manage resources effectively and improve household resilience.
Program Impact
Families increase their household income, improve financial decision-making, and better support their children’s education and health.
Communities become more resilient, inclusive, and capable of supporting vulnerable members.
