About Restore Family Mission International

Who We Are

Restore Family Mission International (FIRM) is a registered community-based nonprofit organization operating in Wakiso District, Uganda. Established in 2018, FIRM was founded by young community leaders with a shared vision of empowering youth, women, and families to live healthy, productive, and self-reliant lives.

We exist to respond to the real challenges facing young people and families — unemployment, limited access to health services, HIV/AIDS, and poverty — through practical, community-driven solutions.

About Restore Family Mission International
Our Purpose
We believe that every young person has potential, dignity, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to their family and community when given the right opportunities.
Our work focuses on:
  • Improving access to health information and services
  • Equipping youth with practical, income-generating skills
  • Strengthening families and households economically
  • Promoting inclusion of women, children, and persons with disabilities
We do not offer handouts. We build skills, confidence, and opportunity.

Our History & Growth
Since 2018, Restore Family Mission International has grown from a small youth-led initiative into a trusted community organization serving multiple communities in Wakiso District and surrounding areas.
Through partnerships with schools, churches, health facilities, and other organizations, we continue to expand our reach and impact.

The Executive Director and Secretariat manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring transparency, accountability, and alignment with the organization’s mission.
