Who We Are
Restore Family Mission International (FIRM)
Restore Family Mission International (FIRM) is a registered community based organization in Wakiso District, Uganda, working since 2018 to unlock the potential of young people and strengthen families.
We combine community health, vocational skills training, and economic empowerment to help vulnerable youth, women, and persons with disabilities live healthier and more productive lives. Our work is rooted in local communities and delivered through schools, parishes, and grassroots networks to reach those most in need.
Programs
Our Programs
Youth Skills & Economic Empowerment
We train out-of-school youth and young mothers in practical, income-generating skills such as tailoring, hairdressing, cookery, baking, and small-scale product making.
Health & HIV/AIDS Awareness
Through community outreaches, peer education, counselling and referrals, we promote HIV prevention, reproductive health rights, testing, and access to trusted health facilities.
Family & Community Empowerment
We strengthen households through life-skills mentoring, village savings and loans groups, support to vulnerable children and persons with disabilities.
Peer Educators in Schools & Parishes
We deploy trained peer educators in schools and parishes to provide health education and community sensitization.
Community-Based Training & Outreach
Practical, hands-on vocational skilling delivered with partnerships with local health facilities and organizations.
Continuous Mentoring & Psychosocial Support
We provide ongoing mentoring and psychosocial support to ensure sustainable change and community member empowerment.
